The Power Of Outliers

Statistically the Mean is considered not to be a good indicator, due to the outliers in the data. I myself don't like to use the mean as an indicator to make decisions. But, it sometimes helps me to get rid of troubles, and discussions with my girlfriend.

For the time writing this blog, I work as Business Analyst, I'm still a student and working on so many projects at GlobalTech Omicrom and, also a choir conductor. This implies that I don't have enough time to spend with my girlfriend. 

In the last 12 months, she's being complaining a lot about me, not paying her attention and, she is completely right. So, how do I manage to win the arguments if I'm not always there?

Simple answer. I actually compensate my absence with extended weekends, that I don't work at all, switch off my phone and put myself 100% on doing whatever she wants, going wherever she wants etc. All these weekends separately and combined generate more quality time than what she would have if I dedicate 30min to 60min per day. 

So, everytime she complaints about my absence I pull out those weekends. And those are the moments that I'm saved by the power of outliers.
